Hyderabad: Law enforcement officials have initiated legal action against Balka Suman, a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Rashtra Sabha (BRS) and former Chennur MLA. The case was triggered by a complaint filed with the Nampally police station alleging that Suman made inflammatory remarks during an address at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday.

According to sources, during his speech, Suman called for militant protests against government entities. He encouraged attendees to engage in destructive activities such as setting fires to administrative office buildings and halting railway lines. The complainant, Motha Rohit Mudiraj, President of the Khairatabad District Congress Committee, submitted a video recording that captures these provocative statements.

The video, lasting 59 seconds, showed Suman inciting law and order disturbances. He even suggested damaging Singareni assets, an action deemed highly destabilizing by the police. Following the complaint, Nampally police registered a case against both Suman and Mudiraj.

Police official stated that they recorded Mudiraj's complaint and forwarded the video to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination. Once examined, it was confirmed that Suman had incited illegal activities threatening public peace and tranquility. Further legal consultations may expand the case to include relevant sections from information technology laws.

"We have documented Mudiraj's statement and forwarded the video for forensic analysis," noted an official. "Following a thorough legal assessment, stringent measures will be taken against Suman as per the law."
