Bruutal Acts and Controversial Origins
The couple lived in their residence in Kishan Bagh after marriage, with Suleman having previously contracted a prior matrimonial bond with another woman. Notably, he frequently subjected Nishat to harassment. She had even lodged an official complaint at the women's police station against him.
Despite assurances given during prior mediations involving elders that Suleman would take good care of his wife, a gradual build-up of animosity emerged. On a Sunday evening, Suleman gained access to Nishat's residence with a blade and, in a fit of rage, forced their children to sleep elsewhere. He then attacked her viciously, causing severe injuries that led to her death by slitting her throat.
