HYDERABAD: In a recent operation, the Excise Special Team Force (STF) recovered 200 grams of ganja and eight cannabis tablets from Guru Sumanth near Vijetha Supermarket in Jayabharathinagar Colony under Medchal-Malkajgiri district limits. The suspect was apprehended during a coordinated raid.
Operation Details and Background
During the operation, the STF found 200 grams of ganja and eight cannabis tablets in Sumanth's possession. He was also in control of a motorcycle allegedly used for transporting narcotics. According to police reports, another individual from Visakhapatnam named Sai Krishnam Raju supplied these substances to Sumanth, acting as an intermediary in the drug chain.
C.I., STF C.A. Nagaraju handed over the suspect and evidence to the Kukatpally Excise Police Station for further legal proceedings.
