HYDERABAD: Rangareddy excise officials recently uncovered a significant haul of illegal substances during raids in the Manikonda area. A total of 150 grams of ganja and 52 bottles of non-duty paid liquor were seized, with the latter belonging to brands sourced from Goa, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Odisha.

According to enforcement officer CI Subash Chander alongside SI Akhil and their team, a tip-off led them to search premises where ganja and liquor were reportedly being sold. The contraband items were confiscated from two individuals: Satyanarayana and Venkatesh. The accused have been handed over to the Gandipet excise police station for further processing.
