Hyderabad (TNN): BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao has stated that his party, once back in power after the upcoming elections, will ensure a uninterrupted supply of safe drinking water to residents of Hyderabad for 24 hours. Speaking at a meeting with party cadres in Kukatpally, Rama Rao highlighted the plight of citizens under former Congress rule, emphasizing their long-standing struggles with water scarcity and frequent power cuts. He asserted that during the decade-long tenure of K. Chandrashekar Rao's leadership, efforts were made to stabilize electricity supplies, which will now be replicated for uninterrupted provision of drinking water.

Rao underlined how past administrations, notably led by KCR, managed to mitigate issues with power and subsequently water. The BRS leader highlighted the significance of the upcoming elections in ensuring a sustainable improvement in lifestyle for the city's residents.
