U Min Aung Hlaing's journey to India is notably timely as it follows recent parliamentary elections held in Myanmar from December to January. The President was initially scheduled for June 1 at an International Big Cat Alliance Summit; however, his itinerary was adjusted due to changes in the summit's timeline.
Accompanying the President will be a high-level delegation of cabinet ministers, senior officials, and business leaders, as revealed by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to host detailed talks with the Myanmar President on June 1 to deepen the historical and civilizational bonds between the two countries.
