According to family sources, he passed away at approximately 6 am while receiving treatment for age-related health issues at the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bengaluru.
Alongside a tumultuous political career marked by his tenure as an MLA four times and a Minister twice, Venkataramanappa was widely recognized for his commitment to public service. He earned significant popularity in Pavagada through grassroots initiatives that championed the interests of underprivileged communities. His son, H V Venkatesh, currently serves as the elected leader from Pavagada.
