Vijayawada: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson, Sadineni Yamini Sharma, has expressed her approval of the central government's decision to implement stringent measures against illegal infiltration. 'This move is essential for strengthening national security and social stability,' she remarked.
Demanding that vote-bank politics be put aside, Sharma highlighted that over several decades this approach had facilitated illegal migration. 'Illegal infiltration has become a threat not just in one state but across the nation,' added Yamini Sharma, pointing to Amit Shah's statements regarding communal challenges.
BJP Commends High-Level Committee Led by Justice Navalekar
Sharma commended the formation of a high-level committee under Chief Judge Navalekar to address this national concern. 'The central government has shown its genuine interest in prioritizing national interests over partisan politics,' she added.
The measures outlined by Sharma also pointed towards the historical actions taken by the Modi government, such as tightening security at borders and combating terrorism, aimed at ensuring the welfare of citizens and promoting equitable distribution of resources across states.
Sharma expressed confidence that these actions would contribute significantly to bolstering national unity against illegal intrusions.
