Nellore, India: The Telugu Desam party recently held its hybrid Mahanadu celebrations with enthusiasm in the Nellore and Prakasam districts. The event transformed into a vibrant "Pasupu Panduga," engaging thousands of party cadres who participated virtually in cluster-level programs.

Ponguru Narayana, Minister for municipal administration, highlighted that the original plans included physical events in Nellore but were adapted to a hybrid format following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for fuel conservation amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Narayana noted that these hybrid events received an overwhelming response across 1,875 clusters statewide.

In Nellore city alone, TD workers celebrated Mahanadu in festive atmospheres throughout 14 different clusters. Notable constituencies such as Atmakur, Kovur, Nellore Rural, and Sarvepalli hosted significant gatherings. During these events, leaders unfurled party flags, paid tributes to the party founder N.T. Rama Rao, and watched speeches by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and member of parliament Nara Lokesh on giant digital screens.
