Madurai, Tamil Nadu - In an alarming turn of events, R B Udhayakumar, a prominent leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), delivered a stern warning to TVK's Aadhav Arjuna regarding the party's aggressive attempts to poach AIADMK cadres. The former minister alleged that TVK is resorting to unethical means, such as using money and administrative incentives, to lure away loyal opposition workers.

AIADMK Cadre Base: Inexhaustible

Udhayakumar dismissed Arjuna's claims with a sense of indignation, highlighting the strong commitment and loyalty of AIADMK grassroots supporters. "The collective heartbreak of millions of unyielding grassroots workers of the AIADMK remains an inexhaustible vessel," he emphasised.

Arjuna was lambasted for his short political career characterized by a lack of ideological grounding, contrasting him with seasoned AIADMK leaders like Edappadi K Palaniswami. Udhayakumar accused TVK of exploiting anti-incumbency sentiment without fully securing the public's confidence to form a governing authority.

Electoral Math Unfavorable for TVK

Udhayakumar pointed out that 68.5% of Tamil Nadu's total voting population cast their ballots against DMK, while TVK garnered only 34.5%, falling far short of an absolute mandate. "A power center that has hopped across multiple parties to accumulate influence is now making hollow threats about our cadres," Udhayakumar warned.

The AIADMK leader went on to state that the party's two-crore-strong cadre base, down to its most ordinary members, will retaliate if these alleged poaching activities continue. "We are committed to public service, regardless of electoral outcomes," he added. Udhayakumar urged TVK to desist from ideologically harmful actions and avoid tracking their loyalists.

The warning was delivered as a final ultimatum: severe and violent political backlash will follow any continuation of what Udhayakumar called the illicit poaching operation, or "Aal Pidikira Velai."
