According to reports, 14 individuals were aboard the vessel when it capsized in the Ganges River. Relief operations have been initiated swiftly with the assistance of local authorities and paramilitary forces. The SDRF has also joined rescue efforts to find those who remain missing.

Despite the rapid response, the search for four individuals continues intensively. Two bodies, one of a woman and another of a young man, have surfaced during the rescue operation, bringing the death toll to two.
