A producer designer at Dhurandhar faces sexual assault allegations from a young woman who claims he led her to an intoxicated and unprotected situation during what was initially intended as a work meeting. A sexual assault complaint has been filed against Saini S Johray, the production designer at Dhurandhar in Chandigarh. The young woman accused him of engaging in inappropriate behavior including sexual assault and physical abuse, following an alleged encounter at a hotel room which turned into a confined and intoxicated situation.
According to the accusation, Johray initially misrepresented himself as her mentor during the project. He invited her to a meeting at a hotel, claiming it was related to work but tricked her by informing that other team members would not be present. She was handed an ostensibly harmless beverage which later incapacitated her and left her vulnerable to Johray's alleged unwanted behavior.
The complainant described how she felt she had been misled and betrayed by Johray who imposed a stark confidentiality condition, threatening that revealing the encounter could mar her professional reputation. She filed an FIR after feeling her situation was beyond control.
