Kamareddy police have successfully thwarted an intricate kidnapping plot targeting local businessman Busa Srinivas. The arrest comes after the gang had planned to kidnap him, most likely for ransom purposes.

In the early hours of Thursday, a group of six suspects—Nittu Narsingarao, 55; Sura Swamy, 27; Puli Prashanth Goud, 40; Suram Swamy, 40; Vaibhav Prakash Baradevar, 21; and Ajay Hanmantha Rao, 25—were apprehended for their alleged involvement. The suspects had gathered at Shivalayam near Krishajinvadi in Tadwai police station limits the day before, reportedly to devise a kidnapping plan.
The gang made an attempted escape upon realizing the approach of law enforcement. However, the swift action by Kamareddy police allowed the arrest of all six members, followed by a thorough search yielding a firearm and rubber bullets that were confiscated from them.
Superintendent of Police M. Rajesh Chandra stated in a press statement: "We received credible information regarding this gang's activities and quickly arranged our deployment to preempt the plot."Background Details
