To qualify for the Chief Minister House Rent Scheme, applicants must be enrolled in a recognized college or institute and actively pursuing their education. The student must be living in a rented house and must not be a resident of a government-run hostel. Additionally, the applicant's family income must comply with the established limits defined under the state's Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. Maintaining consistent academic progress is also a mandatory requirement to ensure the continued receipt of these benefits.
Interested students can submit their applications online through the Samarth Portal. After completing the initial registration and verifying their contact details, students can log in to fill out the application form with their academic, personal, and banking information. Necessary documents, including a passport-sized photograph, Aadhar card, domicile certificate, caste certificate, Samagra ID, bank account details, and a valid rental agreement, must be uploaded. Once the information is reviewed for accuracy, the application can be submitted for processing.
