Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for strong collaboration between Andhra Pradesh's government and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to expedite the implementation of ongoing and potential projects. During his visit, ONGC's chairman Arun Kumar Singh briefed Naidu on the corporation's activities in Andhra Pradesh, particularly focusing on exploration and production efforts in the Krishna-Godavari Basin, one of India's most prolific hydrocarbon-rich regions.

The meeting covered discussions on the progress and future plans related to natural gas and crude oil extraction. ONGC highlighted its initiatives aimed at strengthening energy production in Andhra Pradesh, as well as its strategic role in bolstering the state's energy infrastructure.
