Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh - On Monday, the state home minister Vangalapudi Anitha toured the Payakaraopeta Assembly constituency, focusing on social welfare initiatives and interacting with local residents. The visit kicked off in Satyavaram village, where pensions were distributed to beneficiaries and the minister met villagers.
Social Security Initiatives: Pensions & Development Programs
At the Gouri Parameswara temple, Anitha honored the local community with prayers before moving on. She visited Srirampuram and engaged in a personal meeting with the family of Boddapati Veeraswamy. In Aratlakota village, she extended her condolences to families who lost loved ones during unseasonal rains and assured them of government support.
The minister underscored that the coalition government prioritizes social security pensions and assures timely delivery of benefits to beneficiaries across rural areas. She pointed out ongoing welfare programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life in North Andhra region through operationalization of the South Coast Railway Zone, headquartered in Visakhapatnam.
