Renowned film producer and Geetha Arts chairman Allu Aravind recently made a generous donation of ₹30 lakh to the All India Kapu, Telaga, Balija Sangam (AITKB Sangham) in Lower Tank Bund, Hyderabad. This monetary gift is aimed at supporting community welfare initiatives with a focus on enhancing social service programs and projects.
Construction of Room in Memory of Father
The contribution marks the construction of a dedicated room within the Sangham building to honor Allu Aravind's late father, Allu Ramalingaiah. This memorial space is part of the ongoing efforts by Aravind to give back to his community and maintain strong ties with family roots.
Aravind personally handed over the cheque to several members of the Sangham including A. V. Ratnam, Kotele Srihari, Arava Ramakrishna, Baira Dileep, Chalavadi Ravi, Vidyasagar, Sunkara Venkateswara Rao, and Shivaji. This gesture reflects his commitment to the Kapu, Telaga, Balija, and Ontari communities.
"Through this donation, we aim to contribute towards the betterment of our community," Aravind stated in a statement provided by the Sangham members expressing gratitude for his generous contribution. The funds will be utilized for various educational, charitable, and community service activities conducted at the Sangham building which serves as a vital hub benefiting students and underprivileged individuals.
