- •Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme
- •Aadhaar-linked bank account
- •E-KYC requirements
The much-anticipated 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKisan) scheme is approaching, with farmers eagerly awaiting their financial benefit. This program aims to support eligible Indian farmers by distributing Rs 6,000 per annum in three installments of Rs 2,000 each, disbursed quarterly.
So far, 22 installments have been provided under this scheme, with the latest installment being credited on March 18, 2026. Farmers are now looking forward to receiving their next payment in July 2026, as per media reports. However, an official announcement from the government regarding the exact release date is yet to be made.
To ensure you receive your installment on time, it's crucial that farmers meet certain criteria:
- The Aadhaar number must be linked to the bank account.
- E-KYC has been completed successfully.
- Land verification details are accurately registered.
Federal guidelines stipulate that if any of these requirements aren't met, farmers won't receive their installment. If your bank account isn't linked to Aadhaar or other documents are incomplete, expect delays until all formalities are completed.
