Naidu Urges Officials to Adopt Humanitarian Approach in Public Grievance Redressal

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has issued a clear directive to state officials, emphasizing the necessity of adopting a humanitarian approach when addressing public grievances. During a comprehensive review held at the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) Centre in the State Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister underscored that improving public grievance redressal is essential for effective governance.

The Chief Minister highlighted that civil servants and government employees must prioritize empathy when dealing with citizens. He suggested that officials should aim to resolve complaints by placing themselves in the shoes of the petitioners. By treating citizens with courtesy and genuine concern, the government aims to foster a more positive perception of administrative processes among the public.

Enhancing Efficiency and Administrative Accountability

N Chandrababu Naidu stressed that administrative roles require constant innovation and the effective utilization of human resources. He noted that while technological advancements have streamlined the process of file clearances, the system could easily lose its effectiveness if employees fail to think creatively. To counter this, the government has already implemented training programs focused on governance reforms to strengthen overall administrative efficiency.

The leadership also addressed concerns regarding the spread of misinformation. The Chief Minister expressed serious concern over certain groups attempting to politicize local incidents by introducing caste or religious narratives. He urged all government personnel to remain vigilant and act responsibly to prevent the spread of hatred and false propaganda, ensuring that the public remains well-informed.

Furthermore, the discussion touched upon the importance of addressing broader societal issues. N Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that criminal activities are often fueled by underlying mental health struggles or addictions to substances like ganja. He confirmed that the government is actively tracing and addressing older criminal cases, including those originating in 2019, to ensure that offenders are held accountable and cannot escape justice.

Future Infrastructure and Environmental Goals

Looking toward future development, the Chief Minister called for immediate focus on key infrastructure and environmental projects. Plans are underway to establish a Quantum Park and a Semiconductor Park, with preparations aligned for the anticipated launch of a quantum computer this December. Additionally, the administration is prioritizing sustainable development by improving water security, increasing urban greenery, maintaining public cleanliness, and taking decisive steps to protect state rivers from pollution.

Finally, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of road safety and strict adherence to regulations, specifically directing vehicle owners to comply with the prescribed standards for number plates across the state.
