The government has taken up the retaining wall project at an estimated cost of ₹690 crore. Currently, land acquisition for approximately 240 metres is pending. Minister Rao emphasized that works should be completed on both sides of the stream—from the bypass road to the cable bridge—by June. The entire project must be finished by March 2027.
