The Indian Railways is gearing up for the summer season with a series of special trains aimed at meeting the increasing demand from travelers. Several key routes will experience these temporary services, providing additional travel options and comfort during warmer months.

Special Trains Between Howrah and Khatipur

The 09707 Khatipura – Howrah Special train will depart from Khatipura at 17:00 hours on April 15, 22, and 29, arriving in Howrah at 22:15 hours the following day. Simultaneously, the 09708 Howrah – Khatipura special train will leave from Howrah at 00:15 hours on April 17, 24, and May 1, reaching Khatipura by the morning of the next day at 11:30. Both trains will make stops at Durgapur and Asansol stations within the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. They feature sleeper class and air-conditioned coaches.

This service is expected to cater to both business and leisure travelers, providing a comfortable journey between these prominent cities of West Bengal.

Special Train Service Between Madar Junction and Kolkata

The 09605 Madar Junction – Kolkata Special train will depart from Madar Junction at 10:45 hours on April 17, 24, and May 1, arriving in Kolkata at 21:50 hours the following day. Conversely, the 09606 Kolkata – Madar Junction Special train will leave Kolkata at 00:50 hours on April 19, 26, and May 3, reaching Madar Junction by mid-day at 14:00 hours. Both trains will also stop at Durgapur and Asansol stations in both directions under the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway.

The general second-class coach can accommodate travelers who prefer a budget-friendly option while still enjoying train travel. Sleeper class and air-conditioned coaches are both available for those desiring added comfort during their journey.

Special Trains Between Sabarmati BG and Asansol

The 09435 Sabarmati BG-Asansol special train will leave from Sabarmati BG at 22:55 hours on April 17 and April 24, arriving in Asansol by the next morning at 13:15 hours. In the opposite direction, the 09436 Asansol-Sabarmati BG special train will start from Asansol at 16:10 hours on April 19 and April 26, reaching Sabarmati BG by dawn at 07:15 hours.

The 01701 Jabalpur-Howrah special train will depart from Jabalpur at 19:20 hours on April 14, 21, and 28, reaching Howrah by the next day at 22:15 hours. The return journey through the 01702 Howrah-Jabalpur special train will start from Howrah at 00:15 hours on April 16, 23, and 30, arriving in Jabalpur during dawn at 04:00 hours.
