Highlights

  • 5-star safety rating achieved by Hyundai Venue
  • Hyundai Stargazer MPV with advanced features ready for launch in December 2026
  • New off-road SUV, Boulder, with advanced AWD system set to challenge Thar
  • Compact electric vehicle to compete with Tata Nexon EV featuring over 400 km range

Hyundai is poised to significantly expand its lineup in the Indian market with a series of new introductions that are expected to revolutionize automotive experiences. The company's recent 5-star safety rating for its popular SUV, the Hyundai Venue, sets a strong precedent and builds trust among high-end customers.

The flagship product is the upcoming Stargazer 7-seater MPV, which is set to launch in December 2026. This luxury vehicle not only boasts an advanced dual-screen setup and ventilated seats but also promises impressive road presence. Its price range of ₹10 lakh to ₹17 lakh will place it strongly against competitors like the Maruti Ertiga. The Stargazer is based on the successful Kia Carens platform, ensuring a robust and stable ride.

New Models for Diverse Needs

Hyundai is also working on two other significant models: an off-road SUV called the Boulder and a compact electric vehicle. The Boulder will feature a powerful all-wheel drive (AWD) system and a ladder-frame platform, making it a powerful alternative to vehicles like the Thar. Meanwhile, the compact electric SUV aims to challenge the Tata Nexon EV with an impressive range of over 400 kilometers.

Completing this diverse portfolio is the sub-4 meter crossover, the Bayon, which is undergoing extensive testing in India. With its striking design and strong wheel arches, the Bayon will provide robust features like a 10.25-inch Magic Display, positioning it as a formidable competitor to vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.

These new additions underscore Hyundai's commitment to innovation and market leadership in India. Expect significant changes and advancements in technology, safety, and design that will redefine travel experiences for Indian consumers.
