Details Behind the Golconda Murder Case Investigation
The investigation into this Golconda murder case was initiated following a formal complaint lodged on June 12, 2026, by the victim’s father, Shaik Ismail, who works as an auto driver and resides in Kumarwadi. According to the report provided to the police, his son, Shaik Mahboob, had entered into a love marriage with Rukshar Begum in January 2025. The couple was eventually blessed with a baby boy in December of that same year.
However, the union faced significant opposition from Rukshar’s family, particularly her brother, Shaik Zahed. The tension escalated into frequent verbal altercations between the two families. In a distressing turn of events, Zahed, accompanied by his mother Shameem Begum and sister Rubi, reportedly confronted the victim at his Kumarwadi residence. During this confrontation, they forcibly took Rukshar Begum away, with Zahed explicitly stating his disapproval of the marriage and his intention to see the couple divorced.
Violent Confrontation Leads to Tragic Outcome
The situation turned lethal shortly thereafter. On June 12, 2026, Shaik Zahed returned to the couple's home alongside Zeeshan Nawab, Amer Nawab, and Nafeez Sulthana. Armed with dangerous weapons, including knives, iron rods, and wooden sticks, the group launched a violent assault against Shaik Mahboob. Despite desperate attempts by the victim’s family members to intervene and halt the attack, the assailants persisted with their aggression.
Witness accounts detailed that Shaik Zahed struck the victim on the head with a rod, while Jaber utilized a knife to inflict further injuries. Simultaneously, Laddu and Nafeez Sulthana participated in the assault by striking the victim with wooden sticks. The severity of these repeated injuries resulted in the immediate death of Shaik Mahboob. Following a thorough investigation based on the gathered evidence, the Golconda police successfully apprehended all four suspects involved in the crime.
