HYDERABAD, India - The family of 28-year-old Anshul Kuncha, a pizza delivery man shot dead while on his job in the United States, has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to expedite the process for bringing back his mortal remains. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Tanvi Kuncha, Anshul's sister, expressed her desire for her brother's body to be repatriated swiftly. "The only request I have from the MEA is to bring back my brother's body as soon as possible," she said.

Tragic Circumstances of Anshul Kuncha's Death

Anshul, who moved to the US for further studies and was working part-time at a pizza delivery shop on weekends, was delivering pizzas when he met his untimely demise. According to family members, he had been called to deliver pizzas to a vacant house in North Philadelphia. After completing the delivery and walking back to his vehicle, Anshul was reportedly shot in the head from behind.

The incident took place shortly after 12:30 am on Friday at the Raymond Rosen Homes housing complex. Despite medical efforts, Anshul was declared dead upon arrival at a local hospital. The family is still reeling from this tragedy and their plea for his body to be returned to India reflects their desperate desire for closure.

Further investigation revealed that the address at which Anshul had been targeted was empty. Surveillance footage indicates he was followed by two individuals dressed in dark clothing just before the incident, suggesting foul play. The MEA is now under pressure to act swiftly and ensure justice is served while honoring the family's wishes.
