According to N Chandrababu Naidu, the ongoing construction of Amaravati aims to establish it as a premier global city. The project integrates state-of-the-art infrastructure alongside advanced digital technologies, ensuring that residents experience superior living standards. The government has prioritized a \"people first\" approach to ensure the capital functions effectively as a platform for growth and prosperity.

Strategic Vision for a Future-Ready Capital

The chief minister underscored that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh provided a unique opportunity to build a new administrative center from the ground up. Amaravati is positioned strategically along the banks of the Krishna River, with core infrastructure elements such as comprehensive inner and outer ring roads and iconic bridges already in the works. The city is planned as a 21-km waterfront destination, incorporating specialized zones dedicated to various sectors, including Sports, Finance, Knowledge, Justice, Tourism, Health, and Media.

He stated that in the case of the new capital, local farmers willingly contributed 35,000 acres of land through a land pooling model, with the government committed to returning a portion of that land as fully developed plots to the contributors.
