The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to unveil the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results for 2026. As nearly 44 lakh students eagerly await their scores, all eyes are on exactly when these will be publicly disclosed.
CBSE Result Update: Expected Release Between April 15-20, 2026
According to the latest information from CBSE, the results of this year's class exams are anticipated around mid-April. The evaluation process has reached its concluding phase, and students can expect to access their scores between April 15 and 20. While no official release date has been confirmed yet, students will be able to log onto the official CBSE website at cbseresults.nic.in for their marks.
DigiLocker PIN Mandatory: Securing Digital Access
This year, a significant change has been introduced - all students must use a 6-digit security PIN via DigiLocker to access their digital marksheet. Students should contact their respective schools for this PIN since it is distributed online. To check results through the app:
- Visit Digilocker.gov.in
- Enter your mobile number or Aadhaar number.
- Navigate to 'Issued Documents' and locate the link for 'CBSE Class 10th Results'.
- Enter requested information and download the scorecard for future reference.
The CBSE has also emphasized that three official websites -cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in—will serve as backups in case one of these sites faces any technical issues. Simultaneous access for over 30 lakh students has been ensured through increased server capacity.
