The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has initiated the application process for class 11 admissions for the session of 2026-28. The application portal will open on April 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM and close on April 18, 2026.
Eligibility and Application Process
To apply for admission, students must be Class 10 passouts. They can choose from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams. The registration process can be completed online through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal at ofssbihar.net by filling out forms and providing a valid mobile number and email ID.
The Bihar Board has advised students to carefully review previous year's cut-off marks, ensuring that they apply to colleges that match their academic performance and preferences. Each student is required to select between 10 and up-to-20 educational institutions in order of priority without the flexibility to change selections later.
The application fee is set at ₹350, payable online during form submission. The form requires uploading documents like a passport-sized photo, address details, mobile number, email ID, and college preferences. Once done, applications must be properly reviewed before final submission using the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
Admission will be based on merit lists which will include first, second, and third positions. Students selected in the merit list need to finalize their admission at designated schools within a specified timeframe. Spot admissions will be offered for vacant seats subsequently.
