New Delhi: In a provocative address, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed grave concerns over the impending economic crisis in India, warning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may not retain his office for long. Addressing tribal leaders at an Adivasi Congress programme at Indira Bhawan, Gandhi outlined his vision of a country teetering on the brink of financial turmoil.
Rising Prices and Economic Instability
Gandhi asserted that India is heading towards an unprecedented economic crisis, driven by skyrocketing prices. He highlighted that inflationary pressures are just the beginning, predicting deeper issues ahead. 'This process has already started and cannot be halted,' he stated, emphasizing the severity of the situation.
Internal Systemic Issues
The Opposition leader also accused Modi's regime of an 'institutional revolt', suggesting that key institutions are leaking confidential information to opposition parties. He argued that systems once functioning under Modiji's control are now collapsing from within, indicating a significant erosion of governmental stability.
Gandhi further cautioned that rising economic challenges could exacerbate public discontent and place additional strain on various governance mechanisms. He posited that the government might resort to extraordinary measures to manage public dissatisfaction but reiterated his belief in a loss of institutional control by the current administration.
