The 32-year-old, renowned for his resilience and dedication to the sport, played seven Test matches under the Indian flag.

Bharat's cricketing odyssey began in February 2023 when he faced Australia in Nagpur. Although his journey to the national team picked up steam during an India squad call-up in 2019, it wasn't until 2024 that he secured a place as a Test player for his country. The right-handed batter's last international appearance came against England at Visakhapatnam.
Not only did Bharat contribute with a respectable batting tally of 221 runs during his Test career, but his performance also included a memorable single-inning effort of 44 which he recorded in a notable match.
