A formal missing person investigation has been launched in Hyderabad following a report filed by Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, the chairperson of the Telangana Women’s Commission. The case involves the disappearance of her sister, 57-year-old K. Namratha, who has not been seen or heard from since the 4th of June 2026.

According to the official report, K. Namratha, who resided on Road No. 12 in Banjara Hills, departed from her home unattended at approximately 10:00 AM on the morning of June 4th. She did not notify her family members regarding her destination or intentions. Following an exhaustive and unsuccessful search conducted by the family across the residences of various relatives, they took the step of reporting the matter to the local authorities.

Ongoing Investigation into K. Namratha's Disappearance

The Banjara Hills Police Station is actively managing the missing person case. During the initial filing, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi highlighted specific concerns, naming three individuals—Satish (35), Satyanarayana (45), and Kumari (45)—as persons of interest. The complainant indicated that a thorough interrogation of these individuals may provide critical insights into the circumstances surrounding the sudden disappearance of her sister.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the investigation is being handled with high priority. Specialized police teams have been deployed to analyze all available CCTV surveillance footage from the surrounding areas and are actively gathering detailed background information on the identified suspects to determine their potential involvement.

The missing individual, K. Namratha, is recognized as the second daughter of K. Keshava Rao, the former Rajya Sabha MP who currently serves as the Adviser to the Telangana Government for Public Affairs. Known for maintaining a notably private existence, K.
