A comprehensive search operation is actively underway to locate a three-year-old girl, Jnaneswari, and her loyal canine companion after they went missing from Dondavaka panchayat near Tuni on Saturday evening. The search involves ten teams from multiple departments including the police, fire, forest, and revenue forces covering 1,000 acres of forest area.
The incident occurred when Jnaneswari, the daughter of Sunkara Ganesh and Bhavani, wandered away while her parents were working in a garden. A passerby who noticed the child was prevented from approaching by the family's pet dog. The individual later alerted villagers, who had been searching throughout the night before reporting to Tuni Rural police.
Persistent Search Efforts
Superintendent of police G. Bindu Madhav and Peddapuram DSP N.B.G. Tilak have directed efforts to intensify the search operation, deploying key resources such as clues teams, dog squad personnel, SDRF teams, and drones.
According to Tuni Rural Circle Inspector G. Chenna Kesava Rao, the search area includes surrounding hillocks where no clues have yet been found regarding the girl or her dog. Despite these challenges, all possible efforts are being made to trace Jnaneswari until a successful resolution is achieved.
