India's weather pattern is showing a significant shift, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms expected across several regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for numerous states, advising residents to prepare for adverse conditions over the next few days.

Rainfall Warnings in Rajasthan

The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and surrounding areas are already experiencing heavy rainfall. According to the IMD, moderate to heavy rain is anticipated on April 4th across cities like Udaipur, Alwar, Chittorgarh, Tonk, Bundi, Bhilwara, and Pratapgarh. Additionally, the weather department issued a warning for heavy rainfall in Bhopal, Satna, Katni, Damoh, Panna, Chhatarpur, Morena, and Betul.

Alerts in Central and Eastern India

The southeastern states of Bihar and Jharkhand are also set to confront thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. The IMD has issued a warning for the districts of Patna, West Champaran, East Champaran, Bhojpur, Gaya, Rohtas, Kaimur, and Aurangabad from April 4th onwards. These regions can expect significant rainfall with accompanying lightning strikes.

In Uttar Pradesh, particularly in areas such as Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Mahoba, Jhansi, Jalaun, Mahamayangar, Hamirpur, Hardoi, and Kanpur, the weather conditions are expected to become quite turbulent. The IMD also anticipates gusty winds, making tomorrow a potentially stormy day for these regions.

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will face their own challenges with snowfall causing a drop in temperatures. A Yellow Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department warning of rainfall in Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, Kinnaur, Chamba, and Sirmaur.

Capital Cities Under Warning

New Delhi and its neighbors are not out of the storm. Tomorrow, April 5th, could see thunderstorms along with potential hail in the Delhi-NCR region. Dust storms might also be a concern on that day. The minimum temperature is projected to drop around 19 degrees Celsius.
