Mahbubnagar experienced one of the more audacious yet meticulously planned heists in recent times, where three masked individuals pulled off a 'filmy-style' robbery, leaving the police perplexed. The incident occurred on the morning of [Date] at an [Bank Name]'s ATM center in Mahbubnagar district, India.

The robbers entered the ATM premises after thorough scouting and exact timing. They managed to escape with a staggering Rs.2.3 lakh by cutting through the machine's security features, including wires that connected the surveillance cameras and DVR systems. Additionally, they disabled the burglar alarm to ensure minimum disturbance from law enforcement.

Strategic Evasion Techniques

The trio employed a series of strategic techniques, ensuring their getaway was seamless. After gaining entry into the ATM center around 3:30 AM, they worked with speed and precision. They cut the machine's lock using a gas cutter to avoid any damage that might have spoiled the currency notes inside.

They then drove an SUV without number plates from the crime scene in just seven minutes, avoiding toll stations and public roads where security cameras could pick them up on their journey of escape," said P Venkateswarlu, Deputy Superintendent of Police. "They managed to drive at high speeds, leading to the machine detaching from their vehicle, which they then stowed away inside an SUV camper for disposal later.

The heist continued as the robbers drove seven kilometers with the machine in tow before discarding its upper portion on a field and continuing another seven kilometers. Finally, they carefully opened the cash chest using the gas cutter to ensure no damage was done to the currency notes within." Venkateswarlu elaborated further.

After their successful theft at the ATM center, the gang allegedly had attempted similar heists in nearby locations of Shadnagar on May 23 and areas like Sircilla and Dharmavaram earlier. Such meticulous planning and execution suggest that they have been engaged in such crimes for some time now.
