CTET 2026 Results Soon: Check Your Marks and Eligibility

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the eagerly awaited results for the upcoming CTET exam conducted in December 2026. With the provisional answer key now available, all candidates are awaiting the official release.

CBSE has closed the window for filing objections on the provisional answer key and aims to announce the final results shortly at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who have been patiently waiting can soon check their CTET 2026 results directly from the official website.

First conducted in February 2023, candidates participated in two shifts across 140 cities this time. The CBSE does not yet have an official result release date but estimates that the final results will be out within two weeks of closing the correction window on January 1st, 2027.

Knowing their eligibility is crucial for candidates as the cut-off marks also differ based on category:

• General Category: 60% or 90 out of 150 correct answers are needed.
• Reserve Categorical Candidates (OBC, SC, ST): A minimum score requirement is 55% or 87 out of 150 questions answered correctly.

The CTET exam was held on January 1st across both shifts. The provisional marking scheme remains the same with a total of 150 questions, each worth 1 mark and no negative scoring.

To access their results, candidates must submit their roll numbers and date of birth:

• Visit: CTET.nic.in
• Select 'CTET December 2026 Result' from homepage
• Enter personal information (Roll Number and Date of Birth)
• Click on Submit.

The results will then automatically be displayed, which should be printed for future reference. Should any objections be raised based on the provisional answer key, those marks will be added to the final result if verified correctly.
