A delegation comprising BJP legislators, including both MLAs and MLCs, is set to conduct a comprehensive field inspection of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) sites. Led by assembly floor leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, this initiative aims to investigate serious allegations regarding the disappearance of approximately 40 lakh tonnes of coal, valued at an estimated Rs 1,600 crore. The BJP leadership has strongly criticized the current state government for its apparent inaction regarding these claims of widespread malpractice.
