Visakhapatnam will witness a historic two-day national workshop focused on seafood exports, bringing together key stakeholders including Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and four Central ministers—Piyush Goyal of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Rajiv Ranjan Singh from Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Panchayati Raj, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu representing Civil Aviation, and Chirag Paswan overseeing Food Processing Industries. The event aims to address crucial aspects such as the promotion of seafood exports, development of value-added products, adherence to international quality standards, traceability systems, certification processes, and the role of startups and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in strengthening the sector.

The inaugural session will be inaugurated by Naidu alongside central ministers George Kurian and S. P. Singh Baghel, ensuring a comprehensive discussion on how to harness the potential of India's marine resources. Benefits under the Prime Minister Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and Kisan Credit Card (KCC) schemes will be distributed, further supporting local entrepreneurs and agriculturalists.
