Aadhaar Mobile Number Update: In the digital age, having a reliable digital ID like Aadhaar has become indispensable. If you need to carry out any public or private work, an Aadhaar card becomes essential. If you already have an Aadhaar card, having the details is critical for utilizing any public or non-public scheme. UIDAI has recently added a feature to the new Aadhaar mobile app, allowing you to update your linked mobile number at home, saving you just Rs. 75.
Previously, this opportunity was only available at Aadhaar centers, but now UIDAI has made it convenient to use their new app. To do so, download the app from the Play Store or App Store, grant the necessary permissions, and provide your Aadhaar number. Agree to the terms and conditions, and verify your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. After this, you may proceed to authenticate the app. Set up a security PIN for the app as well. Now you are ready to use the app.
To update your phone number, swipe upwards from the app's home screen and click on the 'Update My Aadhaar' section under the Services tab. Select the type of update you need, and provide the details about the process, charge, and time involved. Tap on 'Continue' to enter the new phone number. Then authenticate the app. After that, you will be asked to pay Rs. 75. Once you have made this payment, your phone number will be updated successfully. The process usually takes up to 7 days.
