Amid intense public speculation regarding the stability of the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction and persistent rumors about potential defections to the rival camp led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, party chief Uddhav Thackeray convened a crucial meeting with his party's Lok Sabha members of parliament. The gathering, held at the leader's private residence, Matoshree in Bandra East, served as a significant show of strength to quell the ongoing Operation Tiger buzz that has dominated local political discourse.

Following the assembly, party Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut addressed the media to emphasize that all nine of the party's Lok Sabha lawmakers remain steadfast in their commitment to Uddhav Thackeray. According to Raut, the meeting saw a combination of physical and digital participation to ensure all members were accounted for. Four MPs were present at Matoshree, while four others joined via virtual links, and one lawmaker maintained communication through a direct phone call with the leadership. Party MLA Aaditya Thackeray was also in attendance during the discussions.

Sanjay Raut explicitly stated that the parliamentarians are firmly united behind the Shiv Sena (UBT) banner, expressing hope that these clear displays of alignment would silence the persistent rumors currently circulating in the political sphere. The speculation surrounding Operation Tiger, which suggested that members might cross over to the ruling Shiv Sena, has been a major point of discussion in Maharashtra politics. Addressing the reasons for the varied attendance, it was noted that some members were unable to be physically present due to legitimate family and constituency obligations. For instance, Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar attended online due to his son's hospitalization, while Bhausaheb Wakchaure was in Hyderabad attending to his wife's medical needs. Other MPs were engaged in pressing regional responsibilities, such as election campaigning, yet they remained connected to the central leadership during this pivotal meeting.

Beyond internal unity, Uddhav Thackeray utilized the meeting to issue clear strategic directives to his lawmakers. He explicitly tasked the MPs with maintaining a rigorous watch over the implementation and distribution of farm loan waivers recently announced by the state government.
