The decision follows a high-level review session led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, which involved Chief Secretaries and Directors General of Police (DGPs) from various states to address national cybersecurity challenges.
Representing the state, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, DGP C.V. Anand, and other prominent officials attended the virtual conference. During the discussions, the Prime Minister emphasized the urgent need for states to adopt the e-Zero FIR system. This mechanism is designed to guarantee that reports of cyber offenses are documented without delay, reducing bureaucratic hurdles that often complicate initial investigations.

DGP C.V.
