Strategic Reassignments in Telangana Government
According to the directive released by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, high-ranking officials have been reassigned to reinforce key administrative sectors. Senior IAS officer Sabyasachi Ghosh has been entrusted with the additional charge of Special Chief Secretary for Handicrafts, Textiles, and Handlooms, along with several other concurrent responsibilities. In another critical appointment, Shailaja Ramaiyer has been transferred to serve as the Secretary to the Government for the EPS&T Department.
Furthermore, Ahmad Nadeem has stepped into his new role as the Principal Secretary (Political) within the General Administration Department. The government also confirmed that N. Sridhar will now serve as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, Rahul Bojja, who has recently returned from leave, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary for Disaster Management, a vital portfolio given the regional administrative priorities.
Expanding the IAS Reshuffle Scope
This comprehensive IAS reshuffle extends beyond the aforementioned senior roles, impacting various other departments essential to state operations. M. Raghunandan Rao has been delegated the additional charge of Mines & Geology. In the investment sector, B. Ajith Reddy has taken over as the CEO of Invest Telangana, highlighting the government’s focus on promoting regional industrial growth. Additionally, Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui has been given an additional charge within TGREDCO.
