After several consecutive days of decline, silver prices across the Indian bullion market have once again gained momentum. The price for 999-purity silver has risen by up to ₹5,000 per kilogram, reaching a total of ₹240,000 in several major metropolitan cities.

Silver Rates Across Major Cities

On Wednesday morning, the price of 999-purity silver in New Delhi soared by ₹5,000 to ₹240,000 per kilogram. This is a sharp uptick from Tuesday's rate of ₹235,000 per kilogram.

In Kolkata, too, the price for 999-purity silver increased by ₹5,000, settling at ₹240,000 per kilogram. Just one day earlier, it sold for ₹235,000 per kilogram.

Chennai saw a similar increase in prices, with 999-purity silver trading at ₹240,000 per kilogram compared to the previous day's rate of ₹235,000. A price hike was also observed in Ghaziabad and Noida, both trending at ₹240,000 per kilogram.

Similarly, silver in Meerut rose by up to ₹5,000, marking a new rate of ₹240,000 per kilogram after the previous day's ₹235,000. Bareilly also saw the price rise by ₹5,000 from the previous day's ₹235,000 to ₹240,000 per kilogram.

Silver Trading Significantly Below Peak Levels

It is worth noting that currently, silver prices in the Indian bullion market are trading significantly below their all-time highs. Just a few days ago, silver rates had soared to ₹410,000 per kilogram before experiencing a sudden downward trend.

The price of silver has since dropped to ₹240,000 per kilogram, a decline of ₹170,000 from its peak. This makes it an excellent opportunity for those looking to purchase silver at favorable rates, as opportunities like this do not come often.
