Samay Raina's recent comeback episode on his show has sparked a heated debate after he took aim at Mukesh Khanna, the creator of 'Shaktimaan,' in response to Khanna's controversial remarks.
In an interview, Samay Raina highlighted how various individuals from politicians to celebrities like Sunil Pal had jumped into the fray during his recent controversy. He specifically pointed out Mukesh Khanna, known as 'Shaktimaan,' and remarked, "Then Shaktimaan—that is, Mukesh Khanna—showed up! Now, who is supposed to fight Shaktimaan? 'Sorry, Shaktimaan!'" After this, Samay Raina continued by quoting Khanna's concern about the content's potential impact on children. Raina shot back, asking about Khanna's involvement in incidents where children allegedly jumped off rooftops after watching 'Shaktimaan' decades ago.
Khanna Strikes Back
Mukesh Khanna reacted strongly to Raina's allegations through his Instagram account. Writing with a vivid metaphor, he said, "A dog's tail always remains crooked; no matter how long you keep it confined in a tube, once you pull it out, it goes right back to being crooked. Samay Raina's tail is just like a dog's — no matter how much you beat it straight, it inevitably curves back again because he is not a simple, innocent creature; he is a 'roasted' creature."
Khanna went on to express his frustration by suggesting the entire nation had rebuked Raina yet he continued to return for more punishment. Khanna's final comment was particularly graphic: "Now, only one thing remains to be done: He should be paraded through the streets and alleys of cities across the country—seated backward on a donkey—so that children can pelt him with eggs and tomatoes for having insulted their superhero, Shaktimaan."
The latest episode of 'I Am Alive' saw Samay Raina hinting at a possible 'India Got Talent 2,' which could potentially bring more drama to the fore.
