Royal Enfield is gearing up to bring a new offering to the 450cc platform with the Scrambler 450, following its existing presence with the Himalayan 450 and Scram 411 models.
The Scrambler 450 is expected to compete in the Indian market by 2026, replacing the Scram 411. It will be powered by a new 450cc engine, similar to the engine found in the Himalayan 450, and is expected to offer better performance and refinement over the Scram 411.
The new Scrambler 450 is being built on a completely new frame, offering improved handling and stability through the addition of USD (Upside Down) front forks. This is in addition to features like digital instrument clusters, traction control, and smartphone connectivity.
Additionally, the Scrambler 450 will feature wire-spoke wheels to provide off-road advantages, enhancing the bike's versatility for various terrains, and will be priced at an estimated ₹2.6 lakh to ₹2.8 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong contender for the Yezdi Scrambler, Honda CB350RS, and Benelli Leoncino 500 markets.
