New Renault Nissan SUVs in India promise to shake up the domestic automobile market, with plans to introduce five new models by 2028. Led by the highly anticipated Renault Duster, these vehicles aim to challenge established brands and disrupt the vehicle segment landscape.

The New Renault Duster, reborn as the third generation of its popular SUV, is expected to be unveiled with a petrol engine on March 21, 2026, and a hybrid version by the end of the year. Equipped with modern connectivity features and a more robust design, it targets the mid-size SUV segment.

Nissan, with its Tekton SUV, is poised to add a new dimension to India's automotive landscape. Scheduled for release by April 2026, this 5-seater hybrid vehicle will compete with Toyota's Hyryder and Maruti's Grand Vitara. Additionally, Nissan plans to introduce a 7-seater Tekton in the first quarter of 2026, offering features like a panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch digital cluster.

Renault, in line with Nissan, will also bring a new three-row SUV by the end of 2026, designed for family usage, equipped with luxury features and featuring a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine for both city and highway driving. Lastly, Renault's Bridger will enter the budget segment, directly targeting Tata's Nexon and Maruti's Brezza with its robust build quality, excellent ground clearance, and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine.

Nissan and Renault's new SUV lineup not only intends to challenge established players like Tata and Mahindra but also aims to deliver a superior driving experience through advanced engineering, hybrid technology, and premium features.
