The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline for registering for NEET UG 2026 from March 4th to March 11th, giving candidates additional time to prepare and apply.
Applicants are now required to apply online through their official website nta.nta.nic.in by March 11th, 2026, and submit their fees by 11:50 PM on the same date. Filling out the application form online will ensure security and speed.
Separately, applicants in other categories (including outside India) are required to pay application fees as follows:
- General category applicants: ₹1,700
- EWS and OBC-NCL applicants: ₹1,600
- SC/ST, PwBD, and Third gender applicants: ₹1,000
- Applicants from outside India: ₹9,500
It is important to gather all necessary documents such as passport-sized and postcard-sized photos, signatures, fingerprints, and scanned 10th grade certificates before applying.
For any corrections or forms needing extra attention, a window will be opened for form corrections from March 10th to March 12th, extended from the original scheduled period due to the application deadline extension.
