Ever since the Indian market began to embrace hybrid and electric vehicles, MG Motors has been actively looking towards launching new models that can meet both premium and mainstream demands. In a significant unveiling this month, JSW MG Motor revealed MG Starlight 560 Hybrid in India – an SUV designed for those who want to tap into advanced technology while holding down the luxury stakes.

The MG Motors portfolio continues its expansion as the JSW team is testing out MG 520, a hybrid version of Wuling’s popular Starlight 560. The current name tag ‘MG Starlight’ will now be sold under an upgraded Indian name.

Interestingly, this new model can offer both seating options in two rows of seats for families or as a larger vehicle with an extended rear seat row for a family-friendly SUV experience. With the option to power up through hybrid or electrify completely with electric motors, MG Starlight 560 Hybrid promises more features than expected.

JSW MG Motor is preparing to launch this versatile SUV in the next quarter of this year as part of their ambitious goal of expanding both the hybrid and pure electric markets. This model aims to target customers willing to explore new energy alternatives, ranging from partial hybrids to full-electric vehicles for a seamless shift in future mobility trends.
