The inscriptions, linked to the Panduvamsi period and particularly the era of Maharshi Balarjun, were found in the possession of a private individual named Sanjeev Pandey. This discovery marks an important milestone as Malhar serves as a significant repository of historical artefacts, with remnants dating from 1000 BCE through various periods including Kalachuri.
