Hyderabad: In a landmark event, the raidurg e-auction saw a spectacular land sale commanding an exceptional price of ₹237 crore per acre. This historic transaction marked a substantial 70.5% surge above the reserve price of ₹139 crore per acre, setting new benchmarks for land value realization in Hyderabad's thriving Raidurg growth corridor.
The auction, conducted through the MSTC e-Auction platform, was a resounding success with Gowra Ventures emerging as the successful bidder for Plot No. 1A & 1/F, a prime 6.29-acre multi-use land parcel. Leading national developers were actively involved in the intense competition, driving up the overall transaction value to nearly ₹1,490.73 crore.
K. Shashanka, vice-chairman and managing director of Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), highlighted that this outstanding response reflects investors' confidence in Hyderabad's rapid growth and potential. He remarked, "The historic price discovery marks a defining moment for the state's industrial landscape and demonstrates the robustness of Telangana's investment ecosystem."
Why This Auction Stands Out
The significant 70.5% increase over the reserve price is noteworthy, as it surpasses typical surges ranging from 30-50%. The prime location and multi-use category of this land parcel were key factors contributing to its extraordinary value.
TGIIC believes that achieving this milestone underscores Telangana's forward-thinking policies, world-class infrastructure developments, and Hyderabad's growing status as a global innovation hub. This outcome is expected to boost real estate investment in the region and further cement Hyderabad's attractiveness for large-scale development projects.
