Miralyguda, Nalgonda—In a tragic incident that unfolded at Kalalwada Colony of Miryalguda, three family members lost their lives on Thursday night. The fire, which broke out while the victims were sleeping, claimed the lives of Vanam Chandrakala (45), her grandson Laxman (16), and granddaughter Pranathi (14).
The initial spark ignited due to a short circuit in the house. Chandrakala was residing with her grandchildren after her daughter's husband's demise a few years ago. A liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder used for cooking by the family was catastrophically blown up, adding fuel to the flames. The suddenness of the explosion prompted residents nearby to rush to the scene and alert fire services.
