After a steady decline for two months, jet fuel prices in India have soared above Rs 1 lakh per kiloliter. This marks the first increase in jet fuel prices since the beginning of the year.
Prices in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai have risen by 5.74%, 5.44%, and 5.80%, respectively, bringing the total cost to Rs 96,638.14, Rs 99,587.14, and Rs 1,00,280.49 per kiloliter in these cities.
Domestically, international jet fuel prices have also gone up, affecting routes such as Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv. Israel and Iran's tension has led to Air India suspending all flights to the Middle East.
